Like I said, you just never know
Tonight Mom served that cream-of-turkey soup in another fashion. Instead of a casserole, she tried a different dish.
Sister Lezley gobbled it down. Brother Curtis scooped some on to his plate, took a few bites, and just couldn't bring himself to finish it.
"But it's the same stuff that was in the casserole last night," I protested.
"Well...last night wasn't really my favorite."
Of course brother Justin had to copy Big Brother. "Wasn't my favorite, either," he said.
So...like I said; you just never know.

Hmm...looks like I better re-think testing new recipes again. =\
lol.
Again, I'm laughing. It's one of those stories that makes you shake your head and say, "Oh, brother," in a funny sort of way. (No pun intended. :))
I happened upon your blog from 'somewhere' but I wanted to comment...
Didn't know what recipe you used before, but I tried using several recipes for condensed soup and had several disasters before finding one that is VERY good. In fact, so good I could almost just eat a bowl of it. (as if I ever do) But, for me I wouldn't want to try it with turkey broth - chicken all the way for me. I mean, I like turkey meat, but am not big on turkey broth, soup, etc... So anyway, all that to say, this is the link to the recipe, it might work for you, might now...you never know. :)

Thank you for commenting, Ruth Ann! I'm glad you found me from "somewhere.":)
I had to laugh when I read your comment; that is the recipe I used! I love Tammy's Recipes. In all fairness to her, however, I must explain that I altered the recipe when making my soup. I guess the results served me right! I was to try it again, the original way. :)
that's funny. :) I would encourage you to try it again though!
as to the 'somewhere' - I'm sorry I really don't remember where it was that I came across you. It was through a comment on somebody's blog, but I did just find you yesterday so commented pretty much right away. Sometimes it is hard to remember *how* I got somewhere. :)
Oh well...like I said I made it here somehow and enjoyed looking around, I thought the post you did on your brother was very sweet.
